Driving on yawing roads while anticipating the risk of traffic jams that always accompany the high season of skiing rarely encourages visitors to travel to the resorts by car. Les Carroz d’Araches, gateway to the ski domain of Grand Massif

From Geneva, the drivers should take the A40 in the direction of Chamonix, and the Mont-Blanc tunnel, and then take the national road 205 in the direction of Les Carroz d’Araches and Flaine. A journey you will make (almost) by yourself.
Les Gets
Count approximately 5h35 on the road to get to a Les Gets accommodation from Paris. Might seem like a lot, but this makes Les Gets one of the closest ski resorts to Paris! A40 : the highway of winter sports
It’s not by coincidence that we call A40 the “white highway”. Used since 1990, it links two French cities: Macon, in Saône-et-Loire, to Passy, in Haute-Savoie, a town in the middle of the mountain belonging to Pays du Mont-Blanc. Its main attraction is its midway passage near Geneva and its extension by an expressway (RN 205) to the Mont Blanc tunnel.
