We love zip lines in La Plagne! No less than five great sensational activities associated with a zip-line descent are available in the resort. Integrated into a tree climbing course in the summer or accessible on skis in the winter, 45, 120, 400 or 600 metres long, flying over the Bear Canyon or in the snowy Arolles, the zip lines in Belle Plagne and Champagny-en-Vanoise will give you a maximum holiday thrills.

Fly over the peaks of the Tarentaise valley and the Vanoise massif in a paraglider on two-seater flights lasting from 15 minutes to 1h30. You can take to the skies on foot, on skis or on your snowboard to discover the resort of La Plagne from above and admire the great Alpine landscape. An extraordinary experience accessible to the most significant number of people since children from the age of 3 or 5 can take part depending on the organisers.

Because the adrenaline search should never be at the expense of safety, avalanche workshops are organised by ELPRO. The aim? To make you aware of the mountains' risks and teach you how to use an avalanche transceiver, a shovel and a probe to be ready for well-considered off-piste excursions. The courses are held every day during the winter, with practical workshops at different levels. They are open to all, from the age of 14.

Treat yourself to a trip through the snowy landscapes of La Plagne, pulled by a dozen Greenlandic dogs and comfortably installed on reindeer skins. Guided by a professional musher, your team will take you to the Longefoy plateau at an altitude of 1200 metres or to Plagne Village at 2100 metres. You can book and take two adults, three adults with a child under 12 years old or four adults with two children under 5 years old to enjoy this unusual family experience.

As soon as the weather is fine, take a trip down the Isere and Doron de Bozel rivers in rafting, hydrospeed, airboat or canoe raft. Courses for adults and children from 9 years old are available to adapt the intensity and technicality of these activities to all. Located on the banks of the Isere, the France Raft base (the organiser of these white water trips) is the ideal starting point to launch yourself into the assault of the currents.

Recently transformed into a tapas bar to enjoy by the fire after a long day on the skis, the 3 Glaciers seduces its clientele as much by the food served as its extensive wine list with some 120 organic references and its varied cocktails. When the weather is fine, you will enjoy sitting on the terrace to enjoy the view before the sunset. The establishment welcomes you from 5 pm to 10 pm.
Foodies
A traditional restaurant, snack bar and trendy bar with artists and DJs for wild apres-ski, La Bergerie is undoubtedly one of the best places to party in La Plagne. Open only in winter and located on the Mira piste, you can get there on foot or more quickly on skis from the Funiplagne or the Colossus and Bergerie chairlifts. For dinner, remember to book as this high altitude restaurant can be privatised on certain evenings.

Heated terraces with a view of La Plagne, a bar with a cosy atmosphere, dishes adapted for those who plan to go back on skis right after this gourmet stopover, evenings organised around typical Savoyard specialities to the tune of jazz. It's hard not to succumb to the many charming features of La Face Nord, this bar-restaurant located in the centre of the village and which takes its name from the famous off-piste itinerary of the Bellecôte glacier.
Foodies
With its themed gourmet buffets organised installs like a small local market, the Araucaria restaurant knows how to whet your appetite! Open every evening from 6.45 pm, and it offers a friendly setting for guests who have come to enjoy La Plagne as a couple or as a family. And it couldn't be easier to find it: go opposite the slalom skiing run. You won't be able to miss the wooden façade of this 4-star hotel restaurant.
Foodies
The Crêperie le Flocon has been bringing a bit of Brittany to La Plagne for 45 years. You can taste on the spot or take away these famous wheat pancakes and buckwheat galettes. The service is fast and uninterrupted from 9 am to 9 pm every winter. You can choose between an indoor area decorated with little snowflakes to stay in the atmosphere or a covered and heated terrace for the warmer days.
Fun for kids
Little pilots from 5 to 13 years old and up to 1.5m tall are invited to get on their electric snowmobile and tame a closed circuit of nearly 3500 m2. Open in winter, from Wednesday to Sunday outside the school holidays, and every day during the holidays, the Snowmobile E-Park in La Plagne-Montalbert and Praz-sur-Arly offers them an activity that is 100% fun, 100% safe and 100% on the ski slopes!
Fun for kids
Try archery tag if you are looking for an original activity to keep your children busy in the mountains. The principle: equipped with bows and arrows with foam tips, two teams compete against each other and hit their opponents' targets. The first team to hit all the members of the opposing team or all their targets wins. A game of skill that will get the adrenaline pumping!

Welcome to Colorado! With Bill and Jane, the grandsons of the famous Buffalo Bill, you will protect the trails from poachers who have come to plunder the park's riches. Open to young and old alike, Buffalo Park offers fun blue runs to help the youngest gain confidence on their skis. Its modules in the colours of the Far West will take you on a journey without taking off your skis.

In Montchavin-Les Coches, the Up & Go tree climbing park will take you to new heights with its 3 open courses and 46 workshops spread over these routes. For the bigger kids, the park has also planned a specific itinerary with 26 workshops located at one metre from the ground, on which they will be able to move without a harness. Up & Go is open every day from mid-June to mid-September.
Fun for kids
From the age of 6, your little ones will be able to taste the pleasure of a descent on the grassy slopes thanks to the XRaycer, an all-terrain sled equipped with wheels and a rudder. An activity that takes on a Wild West feel in the middle of the new Indian Kids Zone located in Plagne Centre. Open all summer without reservation, count 8 euros per person for a one hour access to the Indian zone.

Francis, the magician, will put stars in your eyes. He will share his passion for magic with you during courses and workshops and show you what goes on behind the scenes. You will be able to admire his talents as a magician and discover some of his secrets thanks to learning several magic tricks for the greatest pleasure of your entourage. This activity is open to everyone from the age of 7.

The silver-lead mines, the arrival of winter sports in La Plagne and the practice of bobsleigh are all part of the history of La Plagne, which you can discover during a guided tour of the Maison du Patrimoine. This 100 m2 space has many richly informative displays on the village's mining activity—a place of memory not to be missed to learn more about your favourite resort.

Listed as a historical monument since 1875, the Prieure Saint-Martin church is a jewel of Romanesque art in Savoie. Built on the ruins of a Roman building and a first church, first destroyed by a flood of the Oriente and the second by a fire, this former place of worship now has a museum space that brings together objects from these different periods. Guided tours of this 11th-century Romanesque basilica are available on request.
Learn something new
Lorene Herrero, a ceramist with a diploma in fine arts, offers an introduction to ceramics open to everyone from the age of 4. You will learn how to decorate small pots and suspended elements with coloured engobes and how to glaze them. Your work will then be fired at 1000°C. You will be able to pick them up a few days later at the Tourist Office of Champagny-en-Vanoise. Registration for the workshops must be done the day before, before 5 pm.
Learn something new
Watch the milking of Taurine cows on a beautiful farm in the village of Montorlin. You will discover the particularities of mountain breeding and what is behind the success of Beaufort cheese. These passionate farmers are happy to pass on their know-how to a curious and attentive public. You can go and meet them every Monday, from the beginning of February to the beginning of March, from 5.30 to 6.45 pm.

When you think of an escape game, you always think of an enclosed and slightly scary place. Change the atmosphere with this new outdoor game that combines geocaching, treasure hunting, and escape with augmented reality. You can choose between two scenarios: save the world from a worrying virus or go in search of magic crystals in the beautiful world of goblins. Depending on the mission you choose, you will discover the villages or the best views of La Plagne.

They are perfect for all skiers, whether you are a beginner or an experienced skier. The first option is to ride your mountain bike down the slopes of the Bike Park in La Plagne. Here you can pedal in peace through the downhill and Enduro routes that wind their way through the forests and alpine meadows. Use the lifts (available in July and August) to save time on your ascent.
For even more adrenaline, you can book a flight over the Tarentaise in the Alps. Paraglide from Plagne Centre, Belle Plagne and Champagny en Vanoise to discover the region in a very original way.
Summer in La Plagne is also an opportunity to try white water sports. Take a trip down Isere, the famous river of the Tarentaise and the Alps and choose the activity that interests you most. Canoeing and rafting along the Aime rapids or the Centron gorges, kayaking in Macot-la-Plagne, hydrospeed from Aime-la-Plagne to Centron or canyoning from Plagne Montalbert, you are spoilt for choice.
